Ewan Mitchell, a British actor who's starred in dramas including ITV’s The Halcyon and Grantchester, is set to become a household name after being cast in BBC WWII drama, World On Fire.

Starring opposite Game of Thrones and Sharpe actor Sean Bean, Mitchell joins fellow rising stars Jonah Hauer-King and Julia Brown in the wartime series about the fate of ordinary people in Britain, France, Germany and Poland. Mitchell, has also appeared in several short feature films, as well as winning roles in Amazon Prime drama The Last Kingdom and BBC soap, Doctors.
